Today i worked with the Sgt Slaughter Triple T tank. the vehicle is missing some parts like the engine cover.. two of the wheels under it were broken.. the two black missiles are missing and the man itself Sgt Slaughter is missing also. got it on a lot a couple years ago and i keep it since all tabs were unbroken. after the process of whiting i noticed that unlike previous whiting project the ink in this particular stickers started to come off. apparently these stickers are not like the previous clear ones that cleaned nice after the whiting process. so in the end this vehicle will need a new set of stickers.the final result was nice.. clean and bright.
this is the result. i applied the mix only on the white parts with a paint brush of 2 1/2 inches and bagged it sealed under the sun for about 2 hours and 1/2. rinsed with clean water and let it dry.
This are some stock photos of the vehicle brand new and the box art.

Got a couple of these a long time ago.. i love this Cobra boat "Water Moccasin".the newer versions are noticeable bigger than the original 1984 boat. i will aim for a HTF version for my personal display. these days these vehicles are getting harder and harder to obtain.. and prices are not affordable for the average collector.. so my best option is to create a custom that can fill the shoes on a display case while keeping the pockets from suffering a loss of sometimes of about a couple hundreds. if you like the final product i am open for commissions.. like with any other of my projects. contact me if interested.
Another test with the withing mix.. but this time on a small scale vehicle that showed some ageing platina due to heat damage thanks to the chemical used on the plastic as a safety fire retardant. the pics show only the back turbine of the toy.. but the whole toy minus the gray seat and canopy were included in the process.
This was a test of a withing method on old pastic that had the flame retardant chemical that leads to most yellowing after some years of exposure to seasonal heat. Figure was creamy yellow and the mix neutralized the yellowing of over 30 years, also very little to none effect on the painted colors on the figure. the process is not that all complicated but requires hands and eye protection.
